Power Line Inspection
Power line and grid component inspection with 112× hybrid zoom and a 640×512 thermal sensor — component-level anomaly detection without scaffolding. Offered as a pilot project: every flight needs the grid operator's written consent, which we obtain together with you before a date is set.
How we operate
- 01 Operator consent & corridor clearance
Flights over and near power infrastructure require the written consent of the grid operator (§ 21h LuftVO). We prepare that request with you and file the DIPUL/DFS corridor clearance before any date is agreed — no ad-hoc flight.
- 02 112× zoom systematic visual pass
The M4T flies the corridor at the standoff distance agreed with the operator. The 112× hybrid zoom resolves component-level detail — wire insulation cracks, connector corrosion, pole base condition.
- 03 Simultaneous thermal anomaly scan
The 640×512 thermal sensor identifies overheating joints, failing insulators, and leakage currents in the same pass as the visual — one flight, two sensor streams.
- 04 Prioritised inspection report
Anomalies catalogued by GPS position and severity rating (critical / monitor / pass). Each finding supported by thermal + visual imagery. Report ready for maintenance planning.
