2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

We only collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of a contact request (name, email address, organisation, requested service, message). This data is used exclusively to process your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures).

3. Contact Form and Email Delivery

The contact form on this website transmits your data in encrypted form (HTTPS) to the email delivery service Resend (see section 4). This ensures your request reaches our inbox as an email. No form data is permanently stored on our own servers.

4. Data Processor: Resend (Email Delivery)

To send contact form requests, we use the service Resend (Resend Inc., 185 Berry Street, Suite 550, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Resend processes your name, email address, and message content solely for delivery to our inbox.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Resend pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information is available at resend.com/privacy.

5. Fonts (self-hosted)

This website uses the fonts Saira, Barlow, and IBM Plex Mono. The font files are stored locally on our server and delivered directly from there. No data is transmitted to third parties.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not use tracking cookies or local storage (localStorage). The language version (German/English) is determined directly by the URL you visit.

7. Weather Widget

The live weather widget loads weather data from the Open-Meteo API (open-meteo.com) for the Stolzenau location. No personal data is transmitted to Open-Meteo in this process. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in displaying current flight conditions).

8. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you access the website, technical access data (IP address, browser, timestamp) is stored server-side. This data is used exclusively to ensure operation. Further information is available in Vercel's Privacy Policy.

9. Data Retention Period

Data from the contact form is only stored for as long as necessary to process your request — generally up to 90 days after the communication concludes — unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
